Stratosphreak is a 3"/75mm minimum diameter project. Primary goal is performance, both altitude and speed.
Stratosphreak is entirely fiberglass, with some carbon fiber reinforcing the surface mounted fins. This is the first project I utilized my method of
surface mounting and vacuum bagging the fin can assembly. Details can be seen below under the link for the rebuild.
Sept 2002, Black Rock, Nevada. First flight, sort of. Motor failed, damage sustained.
April 2004, My Garage. Process of rebuilding the damaged booster, including vacuum bagging the fin can assembly.
